Any company wishing to register as a contractor to the Cross River State Government must register with the Due Process Department, The company must pay the sum of One Thousand Naira (1,000.00) to obtain the application form. All payments are made into the Government Revenue Account and bank tellers and E-ticket (now Automated from IRS) are to be presented to the Officer-in-charge along with the following documents before issuance of a certificate.
Registration Requirement:
• Certificate of Registration of Business Name or Certificate of Incorporation and a Copy of Memorandum of Incorporation in case of Limited Liability Companies.
• Evidence of previous registration as Contractor in any part of the Federation
• Evidence of Financial Standing (if any) or Bank Statement
• Documents of previous contract jobs executed
• Company’s tax Clearance for three years
• VAT Clearance
• Company Profile
• Any other documentary evidence which will determine your suitability as a Major Contractor
