How do I Apply for a State Government Scholarship
Information on available scholarships and application processes are published in the first quarter of the year in the Chronicle and in a daily newspaper with national circulation.
Details of qualification requirement are provided in advertisements, copies of which may also be published on notice boards at the Cross River State Scholarship Board, at the Local Government Area and in tertiary institutions across the country.
The award is for both undergraduate and post graduate students in tertiary institutions in Nigeria studying the under-listed courses;
Medicine, Sciences, Engineering, Paramedics, Environmental sciences, Pharmacy, Geographic, Information System, Econometrics, Tourism (Hotel and Management), Forestry and Wildlife Management, Foreign languages (French and Spanish interpreters).
Interview takes place in the 2nd quarter of the year and students are required to present the following:
• Original copies of all relevant credentials, including certificates of Local Government of origin.
• Two recent passport photographs
• A most current session result.
